The author (writing under the pseudonym Akasha Moon) has worked as a professional Tarot reader, medium, and vocational healer, amid many other more mundane employments. Under her other pen name, Kala Trobe, she published Invoke the Goddess, its counterpart, Invoke the Gods, and Magic of Qabalah, as well as The Witch's Guide to Life, all with Llewellyn. She's young, passionate about her subject, and she believes that, although it can bring about some serious benefits, magic can be a lot of fun.
