Andrews McMeel Publishing Signs Deal with Dana Simpson,
Creator of Bestselling Phoebe and Her Unicorn Series

Kansas City, MO – (April 3, 2024) – Andrews McMeel Publishing (AMP) will publish five new Phoebe and Her Unicorn collections by Dana Simpson, beginning in March of 2025. The bestselling series was an instant favorite when it was introduced to middle grade readers nearly ten years ago, and the new deal will bring the total number of Phoebe collections to 25.

The Phoebe and Her Unicorn bestselling book series has been translated into 15 languages, with millions of books sold. In addition, Dana is a star in the cartooning and graphic novel community, has been nominated for a National Cartoonists Society Award, and is the winner of the Washington State Book Award and the Pacific Northwest Book Award.

Phoebe and Her Unicorn is a testament to staying true to yourself and finding the people who just “get” you. Their adventures remind readers that childhood is full of magical opportunities.
