About the Author

John is the cartoonist and creator of the syndicated cartoon panel Close To Home, which appears in 700 newspapers globally, among them the Washington Post, The Miami Herald, The Houston Chronicle, and the Tokyo Times.

He has published over 20 collections of his work, a yearly block calendar, an extensive line of greeting cards, and various other licensed products. In addition, he speaks nationally to audiences about humor, creativity, stress, and the life of a cartoonist.
