Ten Cats: Annie and the Cats

Ten abandoned cats live in an old warehouse where they are looked after by a young girl named Annie. They include Chesney, the ringleader, Jack, his sidekick, and Oliver —a wide-eyed kitten. The warehouse contains a boardroom on the very top floor, where, unbeknownst to Annie the kitties conduct the world’s business through the eyes of a cat.

In the e-book original Annie and the Cats, the cast is introduced with all their feline quirks.

In 2013, Ten Cats, created by Graham Harrop, won the National Cartoonist’s Society Award for the Best Online Comics—Short Form division.

About the Author

Graham Harrop was born in Liverpool at a very young age. His family emigrated to Canada in the 1950s, only to return upon realizing they had left him behind on the doorstep clutching his sketchpad. His love of cartooning led to jobs such as copy boy, mill worker, paint store clerk, and dining car waiter, which, upon reflection, did not make a lot of sense. Eventually, he was hired by The Globe and Mail to draw BackBench, a Canadian comic panel focusing on politics and everyday life.

Graham now draws editorial cartoons for the Vancouver Sun and creates e-books of his cartoon collections. His comic strip Ten Cats appears on GoComics.com. Ten Cats won a 2013 National Cartoonists Society Award for On-Line Comic, Short Form.
